For a while now, we have had a position within our staff team called Arithmancer. People who hold this role are artists who understand 3D modeling and and texturing. This role is responsible for making banners, artwork, and renders for any project needed on Potterworld.
We are currently looking for a few Arithmancers to join our team and have opened up an application for it!
You must have access to some 3D manipulation software, such as Cinema4D and Photoshop, and be able to show us any work you have done in the past.
You must understand how to extract the models from a resource pack and export it into 3D manipulation software (such as Cinema4D).
Arithmancer is a staff position. Before filling out this application, please make sure you meet the following requirements:
You must be able to use Teamspeak with a microphone
I can't wait to see you all at the finals on October 22nd, 7 am PST!
Hey everyone! It is time for the first European Dueling Tournament! The rules are the same as last month. Feel free to come to this Tournament even if you competed in the last one, unless of course if you won.
As said before the Qualifiers will work the same as last month, we will have two in the same day. One House will have a set start time, and the other House will start immediately after. To enter, just show up at your common room when your House Qualifier is about to begin. Each Qualifier will be a free for all, the last 6 will be named finalists and backups.
The dates and times are listed below and remember, this is focused for our EU players:
Serpents: Saturday, October 8th 7 am PST
Ravens: Directly after Serpents
Honeybadgers: Saturday, October 15th 7 am PST
Griffins: Directly after Honeybadgers
The final will take place on Saturday, October 22nd at 7 am PST
The final will work in a “round-robin” style, where every House will get a chance to compete against every other house. When a House wins a round, they will get 1 point. If they lose, they do not get any. There will be a total of 6 rounds, and whoever gets the most points will win!
For the winners of the tournament, the rewards will be 10 house points per person, resulting in a total of 30 points, 5 ACs per person, 1 spell of choice that requires a TC or SP, and a wand appearance or particle effect of their choice. The winners will also have their NPCs displayed in the Great Hall along with a special prefix.
Now the rules:
For the finals, your only team is your House. Houses can't team up against another House, nor can participants in one House team up with participants from another House. For example: Ravens should be working together in a team, but they cannot coordinate with Serpents, Griffins, or Honey Badgers. Teaming up will be grounds for disqualification for the entire House Team.
No brooms, potions, beans, powders, etc. This is strictly spell combat. Animagi spells are not allowed. You also cannot use Piertotum Locomotor. All armor will need to be removed prior to the start of the tournament.
You may not re-sort in a different house if you do not make your original qualifier. You will not be allowed to participate until the next competition. You may also not re-sort to any other house from when the Tournament home page post is announced if you plan to compete.
If you're unable to make the final tournament on October 22nd, please message Kit or Blizz as soon as you're aware so that an alternate will be chosen.
If you change your in-game name since your House tournament, you must let Kit or Blizz know before October 22nd. If the username we have recorded for you is not online by 7 am PST, an alternate will be chosen to take your place.
Staff of any kind are not allowed to compete. Along with them, neither can the previous winners from the September Tournament.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns feel free to message Kit or Blizz on Enjin, TeamSpeak or in-game.
