Meetings Every few months or so, we will hold a meeting where we get together and discuss updates, talk about video ideas, and sometimes even hold a TBA! Meetings will be announced on the Slack and can also be viewed on the Potterwatch Calendar. Meetings will usually be held on Saturdays and will alternate between timezones in an attempt to accommodate everyone.
A Performers responsibilities include working with the Potterwatch Directors to help create content on the YouTube channel. Main responsibilities include acting, both voice and character acting, being available on both Teamspeak and the server, work with a team to create quality content, and to take direction from the Potterwatch Directors.
Although it doesn’t come with any special perks on the server, this position comes with a special “Performer” Prefix on the server and a tag on the website.
It's important to remember that while filming, Performers stay focused and help things run smoothly. If you offer to act for a Director's video, please make sure you have enough time to complete the project and have the capacity for the role.
Call-to-Action When a Director needs help for a video, they will send out a call-to-action in the Performers channel on slack. If you are able to help, please make sure you contact that Director to let them know! They will inform you of what time to meet and where!
Clearing Tags Performers have the ability to clear the playertag above their head, which is very useful to Directors when filming videos. To do this, run the command `/playertag clear`. It will reset back to nromal after relogging or switching servers.
Payment Performers can earn in-game payment via galleons for each video they act in. The payment is roughly based off of how much work was put into the video by the Performer. These galleons will be handed out at the end of every month.
